The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch has arrested a Lawrence County man following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation.
According to KSP, 39-year-old Ricky Henry of Louisa was taken into custody on June 25 after investigators allegedly identified him uploading child sexual abuse material online. A search warrant was executed at a Louisa residence, where electronic devices were seized for forensic examination. The investigation remains ongoing.
Henry is charged with nine counts of Possessing Matter Portraying a Minor Under 12 in a Sexual Performance, a Class C felony under Kentucky law. He was lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.
As with all criminal cases, the charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
